"Out of the grid" by Mr. Underdott
The picture shows an imposing mountain peak that sits like a majestic backdrop at the bottom of the picture. The mountain top is in black and white. But what makes the picture particularly fascinating is the background. A familiar TV trouble sign appears behind the mountaintop, creating a sort of "out of the grid" atmosphere. It seems as if the image breaks out of the usual grid and takes the viewer into another dimension.
The portrait motif in a modern style is a work by the Greek artist Mr. Underdott. His works are a mixture of minimalism and surrealism. He creates environments with geometric shapes and elements from history to modernity.
